Description of Organization: The Aquatic Restoration and Research Institute (ARRI) is a non-profit corporation located in Talkeetna, Alaska. ARRI conducts water quality and fish habitat research funded by state and federal agencies. Current projects include investigating fish use and water quality in glacial rivers; the investigation of the influence of stream temperatures on salmonid production; the effects of stormwater on fish habitat and water quality; juvenile salmonid use of estuary habitats; evaluating juvenile salmon passage through road culverts; and the influence of motor boats on stream hydrocarbon concentrations, turbidity, and the biological community.
